10-29-09: Responding to the "PullJoy" Playa'

This week we feature an article by one of our partners - PullJoy - and if you haven't read it let me summarize: If you go after beautful women and they start to say yes then confidence builds more confidence.

Well of course it does. That's a lay-up.

But how do you approach a beautiful woman that intimidates you from the start? That's what all men want to know. You walk into a party and there she is - 5'10 and long flowing hair and built like a filly and dressed to the max and then there's you. You're good; she's great.

So here's my suggestion fellas:

  • Don't stalk her. You'll notice the 11 at the party/office/bar but once you do and once she's in your scopes...note it mentally and keep her in your orbit but not your tight grip.

  • Don't go direct. Sidle up when you see a break in the action when she's with her girls. Bustin' in is bold...and in my experience gets you firmly shot down. Even if she likes you. She won't show it in front of her friends. They come before you in her mind.

  • When you approach your opening line should be playful ("Don't know about you but I'm real happy there's no TV at this bar or I'd have to suffer in front of you watching the Cubs drop another one!") or inquisitive ("Nice to see your NOT drinking a cosmo...what is that?"). Throw it out there but do it in a way that ENGAGES her. Not a line from "I Love You Man".

  • Finally the most beautiful women I've ever known are usually the least compelling...the least interesting. Why? Because in the world they get EVERYTHING - they get into every place without waiting in line; they are used to being waited-upon by guys; they're used to being CONSTANTLY stroked. You ready for that? Really? Look at the women who are just a notch below the BEST BEST because that's where the REAL talent lies. The women who develop true depth and personality and character because they have to. A lot like you huh?
